On Tuesday, May 25th Gail was the featured speaker at BNC's (Business Network Chicago) After Hours networking event at a Near North restaurant.
This was a great networking and learning experience!
Gail shared tips on how participants can more concisely present their product (YOU!) and ask for what they want by being mission-driven and taking action for the sake of others. We focused on developing your WHO and WHAT to be more specific, memorable and referable. That is WHO you serve and WHAT you do for them.
In 2 back-to-back sessions of 40 people each, Gail helped job seekers, entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs (spirited insiders in a company) move up the 1-10 scale of loving networking and they got to put the learning to immediate use!
During this session, participants applied these skills in a facilitated round of networking that included asking for support and introductions in fulfillment of their goals. This learning experience is derived from Gail's signature workshop, "How to Love Networking."
